St. Patrick's Day
This St. Patrick's Day Daniel's will be raising funds to help the Aurora Barbarian's "under 16" Rugby Club take a rugby tour of Ireland. We have a great menu and very special entertainment in the form of Linda Kennelly, who will sing traditional Irish songs, as well as some jazz and blues. She will be accompanied by piano and bass. This is a night of relaxed fun; bring an appetite, wear something green, kick up your heels and reserve early. |

Portuguese Wine Tasting Portugal, sitting on the western flank of the Iberian Peninsula has developed in isolation from other countries, including Spain. It joined the E.U. in 1986, yet it still manages to keep its unique identity. This is very true when it comes to Portugal's wines. This small country owes much of its sizeable wine industry to foreign trade, yet its wines are sill made from grape varieties little known outside its borders. Touriga National and Tinta Roriz, the main grapes in Port, are the best known but the other main varieties such as, Loureiro, Alvarinho, Arinto, Baga, Catelo, and Periquita, are all strangers to the outside world. At this tasting, we will explore these grape varieties and pair the wines with typical Portuguese menu. |

Jazz Dinner with Michele Mele Michele Mele is a jazz vocalist, pianist, composer, and arranger. She has a distinctly different, playful approach to the music whether it's her own compositions or a jazz standard, happy feeling are infused into the songs. This will be her 10th appearance at Daniel's and we look forward to her return. |
